Partner Certification Program
Instructions for Software Testing and Certification Process
Follow these steps to obtain Primavera certification for your application.
1. Join Primavera Technology Partner Program
Only products from current Primavera Technology Partners are eligible to be tested for the Primavera Certified program. Primavera provides its Technology Partners with Marketing, Sales, and Technical Support for the Primavera platform. Please visit the Primavera web site to learn more about becoming a Primavera Technology Partner.
Please note that your Primavera Technology Partner status will be verified as part of the “Primavera Certified” test engagement.
2. Make Sure Your Application Meets Primavera's Requirements
Review the Primavera 5.0 Partner Application Test Specification (pdf) to ensure your product complies with all the test requirements. VeriTest strongly recommends that you run the test cases listed in the Test Specifications with your product prior to submitting your application for testing. Please note that if your product fails testing, a re-test fee (see our Pricing Page) is required to re-test a new build of your product in which the fail issues are corrected. Contact VeriTest at primavera@veritest.com with questions you may have about the test specifications and/or the test methodologies.
3. Register for Testing at VeriTest
You can choose one of two ways to register your product for this test. Regardless of which one you choose, it is important that you answer all questions fully and clearly.
Test Registration - Online. We strongly suggest that you print this web form and circulate it in your workgroup before beginning the process online - this is because you cannot save your work once you begin.
Test Registration - Download. You can download this Word document and enter the answers directly into the file itself. When you're done, please email the form, along with any other additional product information such as screen shots, to primavera@veritest.com.
4. Submit the VeriTest Master Test Agreement
Please print, complete and sign two copies of the VeriTest Master Test Agreement (.pdf), including Attachment A. You will include both signed copies in your submission package, described in Step 5.
5. Submit Your Application to VeriTest for Testing
Send us the software and support materials to be tested, as explained below:
A stable, fully-functional shipping candidate of your software product on CD or DVD along with any necessary passwords or license keys and any necessary hardware locks.
If you prefer, you may submit your software electronically. VeriTest can provide an ftp account for you to upload your software to, or we can download your software from a URL. Please ensure you specify how you plan to submit your software to VeriTest in the Test Registration Form.
- Instructions (in English) to install and configure your product in a test bed pre-configured with Primavera 5.0.
- Any dependent (non-standard) software or hardware as needed.
- Two copies of the completed and signed VeriTest Master Test Agreement and Attachment-A.

Please see our Pricing page to determine your fee. We can accept payment via company check, wire transfer, or credit card. Only Credit Cards are allowed (Purchasing Cards are not accepted). Please make checks out to “Lionbridge Technologies, Inc.”. Please email primavera@veritest.com to request instructions to pay via wire transfer or credit card. Please note that surcharges apply to paying via credit card and wire transfer.

You will receive a fax/e-mail confirmation from VeriTest upon receipt of your package. This confirmation will be sent to the person listed as the Primary Contact on your VeriTest online registration form. Your product will be put into the testing queue the following business day.
6. Obtain Your Test Results
The turnaround time for “Primavera Certified” testing is typically 8 to 15 business days following the receipt of your complete package. Because of the testing techniques used, interim results are not available. Address questions to primavera@veritest.com.
Your test results will be sent to you via email, and will simultaneously be forwarded to Primavera.
VeriTest will email a pass notification for products that successfully complete certification testing.
For products with fail issues, VeriTest will email a fail report describing the fail issues, along with steps to reproduce. The fail notification will include instructions for submitting a new build for a re-test.
VeriTest will archive software products for 30 days after emailing the test results. After 30 days, VeriTest will destroy the software. Alternatively, VeriTest can return the software to you at your expense.
7. Submit Three (3) Successful Customer References to Primavera Systems
Once you have successfully passed the testing phase managed by VeriTest, Primavera requests that you submit three successful customer references to their Alliances Department. Primavera will contact these references to validate level of satisfaction and will work with the Partner to develop customer success stories into case studies and press opportunities.
If you are unable to provide customer successes on current platforms, Primavera will honor customer references from previous product versions that are currently being supported. For a list of supported product versions visit: www.primavera.com/customer/discontinued.asp.
Once the references are received, Primavera will contact you to complete the final steps for you to receive your logo artwork, and any other program benefits. These steps include executing a Logo License Agreement which covers the term and usage guidelines of the “Primavera Certified” logo.
